HOUSING FIRST IT'S THE ONLY OPTION

Without Safe, Transitional, Affordable & Comfortable housing 9 out of 10 people will not be able to get well because homelessness causes severe mental trauma, feelings of fear, instability and anxiety because their tomorrow is unknown, not being sure of where your next meal will come from, not being sure if they ll be a roof over your head from day to day, not being able to get a job or maintain a job because its obvious to the employer that your a bit off because your always dingy and lacking confidence to do the job or even yet not having the means to get to work from day to day because your living situation is always changing there by limiting them to low level dead end manual labor jobs. Freezing in the public libraries just to get internet/WIFI to reach out to jobs, Facebook friends, loved ones or anybody willing to help or even just to listen to them. Being homeless is a very desperate situation and will cause someone to associate themselves with people he or she will not normally associate with or even talk to, leading to crime, prostitution, addiction, gang activities and all kinds of negative associations in an effort to escape there desperation. Hopelessness, Self pity, Low self esteem, Insecurity, Fear, Desperation, Anxiety and a decreased Mental Health is no way to get back on your feet. These situations, feelings and emotions is what forces them to remain on the streets permanently.

When this happens a Community Health Crisis follows Soothe;

The National Coalition for the Homeless has made housing its first priority since inception. Doing so allows clients to focus on getting well mentally, staying well and eventually becoming self reliant.

(KEYS TO HOPE) plans to partner with organizations like yourself to provide:

A STABLE: Each Resident gets a key to the house and a share room.

SAFE: Low crime area with accessible Bus routes within walking distance. We can also provide our own transportation for and extra fee.

AFFORDABLE: Prices start at $650 a month

COMFORTABLE: Very comfortable furniture that feels like home

SERENE: Very quiet environment that allows you to think like a genius.

CLEAN: Our Cleaner comes in to clean twice a month with washer and dryer hookup included.

SUFFICIENT HOUSING FOR THE HOMELESS

TRANSITIONAL (when needed, long term available as well Nowhere in the United States, let alone (Madison County Alabama) can one live and sustain themselves on less than $650 per month…..But we have found a way!

PRICES STARTING AT JUST ($650) PER MONTH

Most special needs individuals throughout the Country receive an S.S.I, S.S.D.I, Parolee or VA check of between $550 - $1000 per month. This amount does not work if attempting to live on your own, in a Hotel or even with another person due to several conditions like high cost of living, criminal background (example sex offender) not making enough money to qualify because you have to make three times the rental amount and have a good credit score. There are several other reasons why their rental applications will be denied or not even processed. In addition, bills often get lost or go unpaid and some clients are not able to focus on their priority of getting well first. Instead, they are concerned with the lights being turned off, rent not being paid or their roommate not depositing the appropriate payment on time.

This is where we come in and take the bull of Homelessness by the horns.
